Community Impact Report

We are a church organization that began as an independent start-up in May 2018. From our beginnings, we hold the belief that giving back to our community should be our primary mission. What started as a partnership with King Middle School and the Jackson Cluster has evolved into over $250,000 given back to the community to support after-school programs, assist with housing, supporting families in crisis, supporting inner-city athletic programs, promoting student achievement in schools, and establishing a scholarship fund for qualifying graduating seniors as well as partnerships with other organizations doing great work already.
In December 2021, we officially established The Outlet Foundation (501c3) which, we believe, will help us to expand our ability to reach more families and make a greater impact in the weeks and days to come.
Our organization is responsible for the Leadership Development and support of all Athletic Coaches and Teams in Southeast Atlanta and Decatur. This is a partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Urban Atlanta. Along with the development of coaches, we assist with helping to bridge the gap between budget shortfalls for team equipment, uniforms, and sports camp costs. To assist in this effort, our organization runs a Leadership Institute for the purpose of providing quality education at an affordable price. We current have a total of 25 students enrolled.
We also partner with a local food pantry and senior housing complexes to provide holiday meals to residents. During the height of the pandemic, we were involved with food delivery to those who were most vulnerable and unable to travel to local grocery stores. Since 2018, We have also provided $8,521.86 in rental assistance, utilities, and the procurement of necessary household items.
Since 2018, we have provided 13 Scholarships for Student Achievement Totaling $11,460.94 for graduating High School students in our community. Our goal due to rising costs of education is to increase the amount for the Student Achievement Scholarship from $750 to $1000 targeting a minimum of 10 graduating seniors in Atlanta Public Schools.
We have partnered with the Jackson Cluster in APS for Back to School Supply Giveaways. In the last four years, we have given $17,513.25 in direct contributions for teacher/student supplies, PPE for in-classroom instruction, musical equipment for an elementary school, staff professional development trainings. This year, our organization will continue our commitment to community Back-2-School Initiatives as we have done in the past but will expand to offer healthcare services, grooming, and $10,000 in free gas at the local Kroger near our current facility to assist families during back-to-school efforts.
Our most notable work has been in the Summerhill Neighborhood in Partnership with Summerhill Community Ministries. Since 2020, we have been able to raise just over $22,500 to assist in their summer camps, Back-to-School Supply Drives, after school programs, Thanksgiving Food Baskets and Christmas Toy Giveaways. In 2021, together we were able to impact 700 families. This year, our goal is to reach 1000 families together.
