Can you believe next Monday will mark a year since we have gathered together in person as a church?? Over the past year, you all have been absolutely remarkable in your commitment to our community and the world around us. Ashley and I count it a true honor to walk alongside you.
However, there is one statistic that keeps me up at night…
Over 60% of our church has not participated in an Online Experience in the last 12 months.
I believe our church is equipped to do both online ministry and in-person ministry well. This Sunday (3/7) during our State of the Church Event (After Service on the eGroup Zoom Link), I would love for you to join me as we look back on the last 12 months as we disclose all of our ministry and financial records as well as look ahead as to what it means for The Outlet to be a true Hybrid Ministry.
Before I invite our community back to in-person worship services (for those who are comfortable at this point with meeting in person), I believe we need to spend time as a Team getting our tanks refilled before we can truly serve and give to others.
For those who are ready to gather again safely, I will be holding an in-person Leader Refresher on Sunday 3/21 at 10a on the campus of our Live Streaming Site – Redeemer Community Church (Atlanta, GA). You must RSVP to attend (https://theoutletcommunity.com/coreteamgathering).
All COVID-19 safety protocols will be enforced. Due to size constraints, space is limited.
As we make steps toward offering in-person, we ask that you continue to keep us in prayer for wisdom and divine guidance during this time.
